Marketplace Pickup — FAQ

Why should I check before I go?+

Nothing wastes more time than driving across town, seeing the item in person, and realising it won't fit. A two-minute check (and a quick message to the seller) can save the trip.

What if the seller doesn't reply with exact numbers?+

Ask for a photo with a tape measure or a common reference object next to it if they can't give exact figures. A rough estimate is still better than nothing, but treat the result with extra caution if the numbers are approximate.

Can I bring a trailer or ute as a backup?+

If the result is 'Very Tight Fit' or worse, it's worth having a backup plan — a friend with a bigger vehicle, or a trailer — rather than relying on a squeeze that might not work in practice.
