Privacy Policy

FitTheLoad's core fit calculator does not require an account, name, email address or phone number. You can use the vehicle selector, custom measurement entry and object dimension tools fully anonymously.

What we store locally on your device

If you choose "Save My Car", your saved vehicle, recent vehicles, recent items and unit preference are stored only in your browser's local storage — never sent to our servers. You can clear this at any time from your browser's site data settings. We do not use this data to identify you.

Analytics

If Google Analytics (GA4) is enabled, we track privacy-safe, aggregated interaction events (for example: a vehicle was selected, a fit result was calculated, a share button was used) to understand which parts of the tool are useful. We do not intentionally send personal information, exact addresses, or the specific dimensions you enter as part of these events. Analytics is optional and may not be active on every deployment of this site.

Contact and correction forms

Our contact and data-correction forms currently open your email client with a pre-filled message addressed to us — the information you enter (name, email, message) is only sent if and when you send that email yourself. We do not currently operate a server-side form backend that stores submissions.

Advertising

If Google AdSense is enabled on this site, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.

Third parties

We do not sell your data. We do not send your dimensions or vehicle choices to third parties beyond what's described above (analytics and advertising providers, if enabled).
